NEW YORK (AFP): US-born actor David Soul, an icon of the 1970s for his role as Detective Kenneth “Hutch” Hutchinson in the classic crime series “Starsky & Hutch”, has died aged 80, his family announced Friday.
“David Soul — beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother — died yesterday after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family,” his wife Helen Snell said in a statement.
