Steps to be taken for welfare of herbal medicine doctors

PESHAWAR: The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that steps are being taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Mahmood Khan for the welfare of herbal medicine doctors.

Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is rich in herbs, from here herbs are exported all over Pakistan and medicines are made from them.

These views were expressed by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif while addressing the 13th Symposium of Pakistan Association for eastern Medicine at the University of Agriculture Peshawar. Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking steps to promote herbal medicines.

Herbal healing is one of the oldest forms of healing in the world it was originated from Greece. Before these traditional medicines, herbal medicines were being used in the world.

He said that the deployment of more Greek herbal medical doctors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hospitals was also being considered the provincial government will help Greek herbal doctors. Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that employment opportunities in the field of Herbal medicine are also being increased.
