Technical college to be functioned soon: Bangash

LANDI KOTAL: Special adviser to Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on information technology Kamran Bangash said that technical college of Shelman which has been remained nonfunctional for the last 20 years will be started in near future to impart technical education to the tribal youth.

He expressed the view on his visit to the technical college, Shelman, Landi Kotal on Friday. Kamran Bangash said that on the direction of the CM he visited the institution to adopt initiatives to start the college. ” The costly college building has been established some 20 years back but no government has taken any step to make it functional”, he remarked.

The incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in first phase would start IT classes to impart knowledge of computer and modern technology he said and adding for the purpose solarization will be made in the college and all other necessary equipment s would be provided to meet needs of the institution. Prior to it, the special adviser flanked by assistant commissioner Landi Kotal and PTI local leaders examined different section of the technical college. It is to be mentioned here that the technical college has been set up in 1998 and since then it has been remained nonfunctional.
