Top Lebanese politician asks Hariri to return to Lebanon

BEIRUT: Senior and Top Lebanese, politician Walid Jumblatt has said that Saad Al-Hariri needs to return to Lebanon as it is the time to return home as he announced his resignation as prime minister of Lebanon on Saturday while in Saudi Arabia.

Walid Jumblatt said this while sharing his views in a Twitter post. He added that Sheikh Saad is absence from the past one week from Lebanon and residing in Saudi Arabia and don’t know whether it is by force or voluntary but now he needs to come back to Lebanon and there is no alternative for him.

Saad Al-Hariri,  who resigned from the Lebanese premiership on Television from Saudi Arabia on Saturday and saying that he feared that Iran or Hezbollah will kill him and claiming that these two forces are the real forces behind the unrest in the Arab states.

Jumblatt is the leading figure in Lebanon’s small but influential Druze community and has often played the role of kingmaker in the country’s political deal-making.

Some politician claimed that Saudi Arabia ordered Hariri to resigned from the post and put him under house arrest, however Riyadh rejected all the reports that he is under house arrest
