HERAT: Two police personnel were killed and another sustained injuries in separate incidents in various parts of Herat province of Afghanistan on Sunday.
Armed motorcyclists shot dead two police personnel in Spena Adi area in the third security zone of Herat city, provincial police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP). The gunmen fled the area, he added. In a separate incident, he said gunmen shot and injured a cop in the sixth security zone of Herat city early Sunday. (AIP)
