What next after Palestine-Israel clash

The fierce battle between heavily armed Israel military and Palestinian freedom fighters from Hamas and Islamic Jihad has continued over the past three days. According to the reports, over 1600 Palestinians including women and children had been martyred while thousands injured during the indiscriminate shelling and aerial bombing of the Israeli air force while more than 900 Israeli soldiers and common citizens had been killed so far. Staunch rivals have inflicted heavy losses on each other while innocent civilians had also been affected during the heightened hostility from both sides. The Israeli air strikes have turned the Palestinian government and residential buildings into rubble and people took shelter at safe places to protect their lives.

Amid fierce battle the rage and embarrassment of Israeli leadership is unbelievable, as their enemy has caught them in surprise. The Jewish government and its public yet not believe this reality, even the notorious Israeli Intelligence agency, Mossad failed to detect/ smell any threat or scopes of such a high level of incursion by the Palestinians armed groups. The Israeli leadership has vowed to deal with its enemies in such a way that will reverberate them for generations. The Hamas Spokesperson has claimed that their group has achieved its target and is now open to discussions over a possible truce with Israel.

There has been a mix of reaction from the global community after Hamas recent attack against Israel. The United States, the EU and India entirely put their weight behind Israel and called on the world to isolate and prosecute Palestinians. The majority of Muslims states backed Palestinians and called for an early cases fire to give a chance to diplomacy to resolve the longstanding issue of Palestine. Meanwhile, a majority of non aligned nations including Russia, China and others urged to competing nations to demonstrate resilience and turn to negotiations to resolve their dispute amicably. Realistically, unceasing occupation and barbarism of Israeli troops, together with impotence of the UN Security Council (UNSC) and criminal silence of the global community regarding Palestine dispute utterly downcast the Palestinians, who often resort to violence in an attempt to get freedom or sensitise the world about their unceasing miseries. Although, Israel has a powerful military with scores of fighters jets and heaps of lethal arsenals, yet living with an igniting laden bomb is an all time risk for their survival. The Israeli leadership must learn some lesson from the recurrent incursions by the Palestinians by conceiving peace deal inline with UN sponsored two state solution which guarantees a peaceful co-existence of both nations in the future.
