CJP takes notice of Turbat killings

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has taken suo motu notice and sought detailed reports within three days on Turbat incident in which 20 bodies were recovered in four days.

As per details, The CJP has asked the Director General of Federal Investigation Agency and the Inspector General of Balochistan to submit details reports of the Turbat incident in three days. He has also ordered the authorities concerned to take appropriate steps for preventing such incidents future.

Earlier on 15 November, as many as 5 bodies were found in Buleda area of Turbat area of Balochistan and they were belonging to different parts of Punjab and they were en route to Europe through Iran for seeking jobs. They were being taken for by an agent, whom they had paid for their illegal migration.

Later, on November 17, five more bodies were found in the same tehsil, Turbat, albeit at the distance from the previous spot.
