Maleeha urges international community to take notice of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Permanent representative to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi has said Indian forces are violating the international laws and humanity by continuing its atrocities on the innocent people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

This she said while addressing to high level forum of peace on Friday. She urged the international community to take notice of the situation and it will shake the world conscience towards the situation in occupied Kashmir.

Indian forces continuously violating the international law, justice and humanity but unfortunately the international community keeping their close towards the plight of Kashmiri people, Maleeha added.

She added that peace is not possible amid economic and social deprivation, human rights abuses and situations of political and economic injustice.

Kashmir and Palestine as the most glaring and tragic examples of historic injustices where people are still denied their fundamental right to self-determination, she added.
