Panama case paves way for accountability of powerful people: Imran Khan

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has said Panama paper case has given the hope of accountability of powerful people in the country and it has shaken the entire status-quo in the country.

This he said while addressing to Insaf Professional Forum at a private hotel in Karachi. Imran said that the corrupt leaders of Pakistan has destroyed the country economy and they were thinking themselves above the law and adding that after the starts of accountability now they were shouting against it.

He added that country’s education and economic were destroyed but some limited families were improving and getting more money from their business which is clear that they are ruling the country for their own family interest rather than the countrymen.

Imran claimed that after the disqualification of Nawaz now its Zardari turn to face the music as these two are the real problems of the country and hurdles in development because of their corruption.

Earlier, Imran visited PTI headquarters in Karachi which is based near the tower. Media boycotted the happening due to severe disruption. PTI workers and leaders along with their security officials attacked a cameraman belonging to private channel which aggravated the situation.
