UNGA 72nd Session: Pakistan’s stance presented with clarity says Abbasi

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said we informed the international community regarding Pakistan stance on terrorism and other world issues with clarity.

This he said while addressing to press conference at New York on Friday along with Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Pakistan Permanent representative Maleeha Lodhi. PM Abbasi said that he had 27 meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session and he present the Pakistan case with clarity on different issues to the international community.  Abbasi said that he had also informal meeting with the US president.

We informed the world that there are no safe heavens for terrorist in Pakistan and Pakistan had rendered matchless sacrifices in the war against terrorism, Abbasi added.

Pakistan wants peaceful Afghanistan and all their leaders should settles their disputes peacefully in the better interest of the people of Afghanistan, Abbasi said.

PM Abbasi added that a dossier of 300 pages documenting human rights violations in Kashmir has been presented to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
