21 died, 330 houses damaged by recent rains: Saif

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, has stated that multiple districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been affected by rains and floods, where relief operations are underway in the affected areas on the directive of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur. Due to recent rains and floods, 21 people have lost their lives, 32 have been injured, and 330 houses have been affected. Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif mentioned that an emergency flood control room has been established in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

He further stated that the provincial government is distributing relief checks to affected families, and emergency relief operations are ongoing in the affected areas. Immediate relief efforts are being carried out in districts affected by rains and floods.

He mentioned that the provincial government is distributing relief supplies among the affected individuals, and free medical camps have been set up in the affected districts by the provincial health department.

Furthermore, instructions for infrastructure restoration have been issued to commissioners and deputy commissioners in the affected division.
