Amir Khan apologises to Faryal for messaging other women

(Web Desk) : Former light-welterweight world champion Amir Khan, who is of Pakistani descent and is now a British citizen, apologised to his wife Faryal Makhdoom and said he was prepared to undergo counselling to help him stop sexting other women.

Khan admitted his culpability, acknowledging that he had injured his wife and made errors in the past that had damaged their relationship.

Two weeks ago, allegations that Khan had had explicit talks with a model, requested provocative photos, and tried to set up a meeting came to light.

As reported by The Sun He was questioned by Faryal with the information, emphasising how his actions had affected their family. Why would you want to play about with pebbles and stones if you have a diamond at home, she questioned him.

After giving it some thought, Khan said he was prepared to go to therapy if Faryal thought it was important to regain trust and deal with the underlying problems.

Khan acknowledged the value of assistance for those with mental illnesses and said, “I think nowadays with mental health difficulties, any help goes a long way. I most certainly would carry it out. Such things are helpful, so perhaps it is something to consider.

The couple sought refuge and a chance for reflection while on vacation in Mykonos, and Khan recognised the gravity of his deeds.

He regretted talking about graphic things and messaging ladies except his wife. Khan emphasised that while he did not view it as cheating, he acknowledged Faryal’s frustration and rage.

Khan, a boxer who saw remarkable success, said that he occasionally lacked focus and boredom, which led to blunders. He declared a desire to use training, prospective exhibition fights, and appearances on television to constructively redirect his energies now that his fighting days were over.

A surge of public scrutiny and critiques has followed the champion boxer’s apology and commitment to rehabilitation, and many people have messaged Faryal about the controversy.

Khan expressed sorry for any grief caused and recognised the effect his actions could have on his kids.

The pair intends to mend their relationship and proceed with a newfound feeling of commitment and trust as Khan sets off on a road of personal growth and repentance. If their efforts and the treatment sessions can undo the harm caused by Khan’s transgressions and reestablish their relationship, only time will tell.
