PESHAWAR: Secretary General Association of International Press Sports (AIPs) Asia and Senior Journalist Amjad Aziz Malik called on the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak and presented his new book with the title name “Dewany Ka Khawab” The Crazy man dreams.
Minister for Information Shah Farman was also present on this occasion. Amjad Aziz Malik remained with the chief minister for some time and discussed ways and means, and various steps taken by the provincial government for the promotion of sports in the province.
Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak congratulated him for his contribution and expressed the hope that he would continue with such vital steps.
Amjad Aziz Malik informed the chief minister that it was the 12th book written by him which was published with a lot of demand both in Pakistan and outside Pakistan and declared as the bestselling book so far.
He disclosed that the publication of 13th book was in process which was purely based on the life, strength, struggle, contribution and achievements of cricketers hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the international, Test, One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 form of cricket since 1947 till date.
About “Devany Ka Khwab”, the crazy man dreams, Amjad Aziz Malik disclosed that the book also carries his columns contribution in a national daily. The preface or Introduction – provides important information about the author’s intentions or the scope of the book. Amjad Aziz Malik’s book has also simplify the task of the common man very easy to judge how the Peshawarites went through different situation created due to insurgency, militancy and despite all that holding of gathering, either sports and literary one and activities for youth. It also indicated very surely that due to all odds situation the life of the people of Pakistan must go on.
Table of contents – shows how the book’s organized – main ideas, how they’re developed and how one compelled to read the entire book and easy to know behind all this the point of view of the author. The author has also given chance to the readers to express their own point of view about various situations occurred during the course of time. In other words the book also hooks the readers with view point of the author.
This book was about a bird who didn’t yet know how to fly.
The bird has to decide if it will try to fly, but it was not sure if it wants to. The bird thought, “If I never forever endeavor” then I won’t ever learn. On one wing, he worries he might fail and on the other wing he thinks of how he may succeed. He worries that if he tries, he may get lost in the world.
That makes him want to stay in his nest where he’s safe.
This book would help other to learn that trying new things can be scary, but sometimes when we try, we can find things that make us happy too. And this book will help others know that mistakes are okay and part of learning.
My favorite part is that the bird tried and learned that she could fly. I also liked that I read this book because it gave me a chance to talk to mom about making mistakes and how I don’t like making them. Then I learned they are good and part of learning.
Certainly it is too good for youth to read because it teaches them trying a new thing and how it’s important to get past being scared so you can learn new things. The situation in Peshawar and the rest of the country was also highlighted in the book and many things of the past happens highlighted in a very light and appropriate manners only to guide the people know that how the Peshawarites comes up to the light again from the long darkness and aftermath of serial of bombing.
One should give the book 5 stars since it’s important for the youth and even the people of every class to read about the courage the people of Pakistan have in general and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular.
