Art exhibition held in Kabul to encourage artists

KABUL (TOLONews): An educational institution organized an exhibition with the aim of showcasing artwork and encouraging artists in Kabul.

The exhibition’s organizers stated that paintings, calligraphy, and miniatures by more than 10 artists were displayed at the exhibition.

Mohammad Mansour Rahimi, the exhibition organizer, said: “In this exhibition, miniatures, painting, and calligraphy artworks are displayed, featuring nature scenes and very interesting landscapes.”

Several exhibition participants said such exhibitions are beneficial for encouraging artists and the requested more of such programs.

Khadija, one of the participants, said: “Holding such exhibitions is very useful because we can showcase our artworks.”

Zahra, another participant, said: “Such exhibitions that contribute to the growth of art in the country should be held more often so that we can display our works.”

According to the organizers, the exhibition was held for one day.
