The civil society across Pakistan had condemned Supreme Court judgement against Military court on media due to multiple security challenges in the country despite its legal impacts. Pakistan facing various challenges on different front in the current geopolitical development globally and its impacts on region particularly.

It is high time for the establishment of Rule of Law to achieve public confidence, overcoming socio-economic hurdles and deterring security challenges. It is found during war against terrorism that proclaimed terrorists had acquitted from charges due to loopholes in the legal and prosecution system.

In the security departments civilian are working on various position and they liable for trial in military court if found in security breach or other anti-state activities. The terrorist organizations will obtain hope from the supreme court’s decision because they will acquit from charge due to loopholes in legal system.

Moreover, some retired army personnel were found involved in anti-army/ security establishment activities for their political personal ends. The Supreme Court decision pave courage personnel and their propaganda may cause weakens national interests.

The debate over civil versus military courts may cause confrontation among legal circles but it is evident that Pakistan’s ordinary ranked worst in performance across the world while Military’s court stand 7th position.
