COAS, Air Chief vow to give befitting response to any Indian misadventure

RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Air Headquarter in Islamabad on Monday and held a meeting with Chief of Air Staff Mujahid Anwar Khan.

According to ISPR, they deliberated on operational environment including threat and response.

They said that Pak Armed Forces are fully prepared for a befitting response to any Indian aggression or misadventure.

Both Chiefs expressed satisfaction on readiness, coordination and synergy.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also visited Headquarters Rawalpindi Corps today.

In a tweet DG ISPR, Major General Asif Ghafoor said Commander Rawalpindi Corps updated the Army Chief about the operational situation and state of readiness along the Line of Actual contact, Line of Control and Working Boundary.

Army Chief expressed satisfaction on the state of preparedness and readiness of Pakistani troops.

In the tweet, the ISPR DG said, “COAS visited AHQ. COAS & CAS deliberated on operational environment including threat and response. Both Chiefs expressed satisfaction on readiness, coordination & synergy.”

On Sunday, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited troops along the Working Boundary near Sialkot and said that there is nothing more sacred than defending the motherland.

The COAS appreciated the morale of the troops and their operational readiness. “There isn’t anything more sacred than defending the motherland. I take pride in leading an Army which is ever ready to perform this duty,” the COAS stated.

Also, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said the Pakistan Air Force is always ready to fight any act of aggression as per the nation’s expectations.
