ISLAMABAD: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 55 connections while imposing fine of Rs. 30 million and 479 under billing cases processed.
In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 15 connections on illegal use of gas and another two on use of compressor and 47 under billing cases have been processed and 1 FIR has been launched against gas thieves.
In Bahawalpur, the regional team disconnected seven connections on use of compressor while another 16 against illegal use and 17 under billing cases processed.
The company disconnected 11 connections on illegal use of gas while another 09 on compressor use and 06 under billing cases have been processed in Multan. The regional team imposed fine of Rs 0.04M against gas pilferers.
In Sheikhupura, one connection was disconnected on use of compressor while 63 under billing cases have been processed and amount booked of Rs3.01 against gas theft and Under Billing by the region.
In Peshawar and Karak, the company disconnected 44 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal connections. The regional team also launched 2FIRs against gas thieves.
In Rawalpindi the regional team disconnected six gas connections on direct and illegal use of gas while another one on the use of compressor.
SNGPL’s team in Mardan 64 under billing cases processed and six connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. The team also booked an amount of Rs1.66M against gas theft and Under Billing cases.
In Sialkot, the company disconnected 02 connections on use of compressor, 01 on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 0.07 booked against gas theft.

he regional team in Gujranwala 145 under billing cases processed and 04 meters were disconnected on the use of compressor while another 05 on illegal use of gas.
In Gujrat, 03 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas and 57 Under billing cases have been processed. The company disconnected 10 connections on illegal use of gas in Islamabad.
In Sahiwal, 05 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas and Rs 0.04m has been booked against gas theft.
The regional team in Faisalabad 42 under billing cases processed and 06 disconnected on illegal use of gas and another 01 on the use of compressor. Fine of Rs.0.13M was also imposed against gas pilferers.
