Gold prices seem to decline continuously

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, the current rate for 24-karat gold stands at Rs187,500 per tola, while those interested in 22-karat gold can acquire it at Rs171,875 per tola.

For individuals looking to purchase smaller quantities, 10 grams of 24-karat gold are now priced at Rs160,751, and 10 grams of 22-karat gold can be obtained for Rs147,355.

It’s noteworthy that the value of pure gold in Pakistan has been on a consistent downward trend.

It’s crucial to mention that gold rates in Pakistan can fluctuate several times a day in response to global market trends. These rates are sourced from reliable outlets, primarily based in Karachi and Multan.

However, the official gold rates provided by the All Pakistan Jewelers Association, which typically updates daily gold prices, have not been available since September 12, 2023.

On the other hand, to make the gold trade more transparent and promote the development of the gold sector, a 15-member advisory council has been established, and the federal Ministry of Industries has issued a notification.

However, senior gold trader Haji Haroon Chandko has not been included in the council.

For those closely monitoring the gold market, it is advised to stay vigilant as rates continue to respond to global developments in the world of gold.

Rest assured, we are dedicated to keeping our readers well-informed and will provide regular updates on the gold market in Pakistan. Stay tuned for the latest developments in gold prices. (INP)
