Health dept establishes 437 isolation wards

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health department has established around 437 Isolation ward in different hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to cope up with any emergency situation after the arrival of Pakistani expats from China.

The KP health department has established Isolation ward in 18 districts of KP for the Corona Virus while around 437 Isolation ward has also been established where the the facility will be available to any suspected patients of Corona Virus.

Isolation ward has been established in Abbotabad, Bannu, Buner, Batagram, Mansehra, Swabi, Nowshera , Mardan, Swat, Lakki Marwat, Kohistan , Kohat , Torghar, Malakand and other districts of KP including merged districts.

In Peshawar the health department has already separated Police Hospitals for the Corona Virus where around 60 beds has been reserved for the patients in any kind of emergency like situation.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Secretary Yahya Akhunzada also paid visit to the Peshawar Airport on Thursday along with other health officials and checked the Isolation and other measures for the Corona Virus at the Airport and appreciated the Airport management team for taking effective measures for the Corona virus.
