MUMBAI: Indian music producer, composer, rapper and film actor Hirdesh Singh professionally known as Yo Yo Honey Singh has been accused of domestic violence.
Honey Singh’s wife Shalini who has been in a matrimonial relationship with the rapper since ten long years has filed a plea against him and has revealed that the Indian singer has physically, verbally and mentally abused her along with his parents and younger sister.
Hirdesh’s wife started sensing a change of attitude in the rapper ever since their honeymoon.
Shalini has also mentioned that the Indian star is involved in adultery while also being a fan of drinking.
The couple had various differences with Mr Singh also choosing to remove his wedding band as he found ‘diamonds’ unlucky.
Honey Singh and Shalini got married in January, 2011.
Once the rapper was reported stating these declarations about wife Shalini: “She is my friend and I will always listen to her no matter what because today I have realised that she is very important and always right about everything.”
