BUNER: District Police Officer (DPO), Mohammad Irshad Khan Yousafzai has said interaction between the local players and police players will help improve confidence building and posing trust that will help improve law and order situation in the district and finally the sweet dream for long lasting peace will be materialized.
DPO said this while addressing as chief guest to the awarding ceremony after Hockey match between the district hockey team and police hockey team played in Daggar on Saturday. The hockey mach between the two teams was organized by Hujra Organization as part of its activities to bridge gap between public and police in the district.
The Tehsil Daggar Nazim Maulana Saeedur Rehman Mufakir,SDPO Pir Baba Farmanullah Khan, Pakistan Hockey Association member Liaqat Ali Khan and the Hujra organization district coordinator Pervez Khan also participated. The chief guest awarded winning trophy to the winner team while rest of the dignitaries awarded trophy to runner up team and players.
