PESHAWAR: Awami National Party Central General Secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain has demanded the federal government to merge Fata in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without any delay before the interm government in the country.
This he said in Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar in joining ceremony of Momand Agency elder that left Pakistan Peoples Party and join Awami National Party here on Saturday.
He added that the Fata merger issue for the last five years were not solve by the federal government as from two political figure the government were in pressure and were play delay tactics to merger Fata in Khyber Pakhhtunkhwa.
He added that before the general election in the country the government should merge Fata in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and gives them seats in the provincial assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that Fata has affected because of war and terror from the last many years and the government should announce developmental package for the Fata as soon as possible.
He informed that still Fata people were living in camps , adding that the government should clear all the areas of Fata and return all IDPS to their respective area while construct all the house of Fata people which destroy during the operation.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain added that some people were talking about the 18th amendment , adding that if the 18th amendment were eliminated then deprivation were emerge among the provinces as the federal government were not happy in the part of National Finance Commission .
On the Economic Corridor Project Mian Iftikhar said that in the project Fata should be added and other facilities should be provided to the Fata people in the project, adding that Fata people suffer for the last many decades and its time to give rights to the Fata people.
On the performance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa he said that honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan shows dissatisfaction over the perofmance of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, adding that the tall claims of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf was clear now to all people as they did nothing in the province.
He added that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf chairman give notice to its 20 MPAs but Imran Khan also clear people that to whom their member sale vote and who were purchase vote in his party in the senate election.
He claim that Awami National Party will once again the ruling party in the province in the next general election as people from other party joining Awami National Party and the trust of people on Awami National Party is more developed as it is the party of the Pakhtoon nation and raise voice for their people.
