Saifullah defends alliance with PTI

PESHAWAR: Senior Politician and former provincial minister, Salim Saifullah Khan has said that backward Lakki Marwat would be developed on sound footings to provide due facilities to its dwellers at their door steps.

He was talking to a delegation led by former MNA Ghulam Uddin Khan here Saturday at his residence.  Salim Saifullah said that the people of the area have given a good chance to the elected people but unfortunately they ignored them despite having power to resolve their problems.

We have no personal interest and political designs, we only want development of the district and welfare and prosperity of its people.

Salim Saifullah defended the alliance with the PTI at district level saying it has been made in the larger interest of the people. The delegation expressed full confidence in the leadership of Saifullah family.

The former minister said that the people of Lakki provided chance to every political party in the elections but unfortunately they failed to deliver and resultantly the district remained backward and under privileged.

However, he was optimistic that alliance with PTI for upcoming elections would help in addressing core issues and problems of the district Lakki Marwat.
