JI Landikotal new Ameer takes oath

LANDIKOTAL: The oath taking ceremony of new elected Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Landi Kotal chapter was held here in Sultan Khel area of Tehsil Landi Kotal on Wednesday.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa senior minister Inyatullah Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. Ameer JI, FATA Sardar Khan, Naib Ameer Zernoor Afridi, Ameer JI Khyber Agency Shah Faisal Afridi besides large number of the party workers, tribal elders and tribesmen were among the participants of the simple but impressive gathering.

Addressing to the gathering senior provincial minister said that from day one JI was striving hard to abolish the Black Law, Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR) had been implemented on Federally Administer Tribal Area (FATA) for the last one century and would win all rights for the tribesmen.

“FCR is the main cause that deprive the tribal from their basic human rights he said and adding time has arrived that the tribesmen will get rid of it”, the minister. He called upon the opponents of abolishing of FCR and merging of FATA into KP to quit their unnecessary opposition of the scheme and let the tribal belt be part of main stream.

Counting benefits of the merging, the minister maintained that KP would become second largest province of the country and would a visible portion in NFC Award for development in the province that would remove sense of deprivation among the tribal. He urged on the tribesmen to join hands with JI to eliminate FCR form FATA and get a new status for them. Sardar Khan, Zarnoor Afridi, Zia-ul-Haq Afridi,Shah Faisal Afridi and others also spoke on the occasion. Prior to it, Zia-ul-Haq Afridi, the newly elected ameer of Tehsil Landi Kotal, Zia-ul-Haq took oath from the minister.
