Kabir: Islamic Emirate effectively recognized

KABUL (TOLOnews): The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, said Afghanistan’s political and commercial relations with some countries of the world constitutes recognition of the country’s current government.
Speaking at the International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC), at Nangarhar University, he said that without the Islamic Emirate, no can guarantee that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against other countries.
“The Islamic Emirate has been officially recognized, because your [world countries] representative office and embassy are open in our country and our embassy operates in your country, commercial ports are open, your goods come to our country and our goods to your country,” he said.
Mawlawi Abdul Kabir also called for an improvement of Afghanistan’s relations with the world, and pledged that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against other countries.
“No one else is able to guarantee this except the Islamic Emirate, as it possesses total sovereignty over 34 provinces and over 400 districts, and security ensured. The Islamic Emirate will not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against its neighbors and the world,” he further stated.
Criticizing the 20-year presence of NATO in Afghanistan, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs further said that the Islamic Emirate and the people of Afghanistan will not allow a military presence of foreign countries in Afghanistan again.
“Throughout history, Afghans have never caused trouble for anyone; it was the foreigners who violated our territory. Afghans are calm and peaceful people and we don’t want to create problems for the world,” Mawlawi Abdul Kabir said.
“Borders are protected. The Islamic government is ruling and security is provided throughout the country,” said Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
The official of the Islamic Emirate said that efforts are underway to make Afghanistan self-sufficient in various sectors.
