Kashmiris wants freedom from Indian occupation: Masood

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan Sunday said Kashmiris only wanted freedom from the Indian occupation and they were continuing their independent movement with courage to get right to self-determination.

Pakistan always stood with Kashmiris and also highlighted issue at international forums, including the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Sardar Masood said there was need to raise voice against Indian barbarism and cruelties on innocent Kashmiris more vigorously through political and diplomatic channels.

He said India was involved in state terrorism and had killed many Kashmiris, especially youth, and demolished their houses, but it could suppress the movement for liberation.  He said the international community should take notice of Indian grass human rights violations and resolve the Kashmir issue as per the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
