BUNER: Social workers and prominent literary figure, Dr. Siraj Kamal of Sultanwas has criticized the mainstream media for ignoring the Pakhtun sit-in in Islamabad and adding that Pakistani media behavior was very disappointing by ignoring the peaceful protest of Pakhtuns for their rights.
This he said while expressing his feelings via social media soon after returning back attending the grand sit-in. He blamed that Pakistani media is money making machines and adding that media only supporting different political parties and groups which help them make money. He added that police brutally killed Naqeeb, the youth of North Waziristan and Pakhtuns were peacefully protesting against it and demanding justice in this regard but the still turn his blind eye towards which is shameful.
