MUMBAI: Just like us, if you too have been eagerly waiting for Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai 3, then we have some good news for you. After all the reports of the film happening, here we have Arshad Warsi giving us an inside update on the film. The actor confirmed that the third installment of the film is going on floors soon. In a conversation with PTI, Arshad told, “I do know that the script is pretty much ready. I do know from Rajkumar Hirani that the film will go on floors this year – either mid or the end of the year. The work on the script is going on. As of now, yes it’s Sanjay Dutt and me. These are the things I’ve been told.”

While Munna Bhai MBBS released in 2003, Lage Raho Munna Bhai hit the screens in 2006 and now it’s finally after a decade when the third installment is happening. The first installment had Gracy Singh playing the female lead followed by Vidya Balan in the second installment. It would be interesting to see which actress will be joining Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in part three.

Further talking about the film, Arshad added, “I tend to do my film and forget about my character and I move on to the next one. I tend to forget, which is what happened with Munna Bhai. When I came for the second part, I was doing the same role differently. I realised something isn’t quite right. Then Rajkumar Hirani and I saw a couple of scenes from the first one and remembered how I should be doing. This time too, I’m sure I’ll do it.”
