‘Nation is being fooled in the name of negotiations’

F.P. Report

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rsaheed has said that the government will be transferred if it did not transfer Rs21 billion for the elections. In a message on Twitter on Monday, he said that the reverse countdown of the government will start from April 27.

“The government wants to insult the judiciary at all costs, but the defeat is its destiny. The judiciary will win do whatever you want and the law and the constitution will be victorious,” he added. Judiciary will open all roads.

The government refuses to accept the decision of the judiciary, which tantamount to revolt against the constitution and the law, he added. The former minister said the government has resorted to flouting the decisions of courts. Judiciary has to protect and implement its decisions, he continued.

Rashid said when the government does not respect the court decisions, civil war and chaos descend on society.

He wrote that Fazlur Rahman wants to pack the democratic system up because he himself is not a part of it. It’s none of Supreme Court’s business if someone boycotts or runs away from elections.

It is up to the government whether to be ousted through judiciary or face annihilation through elections, quipped Rashid.

The former minister said they cannot contest election because they cannot face masses. The government will be sent packing if it failed to release Rs21 billion [for holding elections].

Rashid wrote that the government wants to humiliate the judiciary, but disgrace is the destiny of the rulers. Come what may, the judiciary will win and the constitution and law will prevail, he concluded. NNI
