Lodhran: One-day Power Hitters Sports Gala Cricket Tournament organized by District Administration, SPU Punjab and Lodharan Police.
The tournament was launched under the chairmanship of DIG SPU (special protection unit) Agha Muhammad Yousuf at New Stadium Lodharan. Cricket teams of SPU Punjab, District Police and District Administration competed against each other in this tournament.
SPU XI was represented by DIG Agha Muhammad Yousuf while District Police was represented by DPO Muhammad Kashif Aslam and District Administration XI. Represented by Chief Warden M Asad Sial.
In the final match, the district administration and SPU Punjab faced each other in which SPU Punjab won the final of the one-day tournament by five wickets. SPU’s young player Mohammad Yasir was named Man of the Match and Tournament for his excellent performance.
Addressing the prize distribution ceremony at the end of the tournament, DIG Agha Muhammad Yousuf said that such activities keep the police personnel energized and the morale of the police is boosted by conducting positive activities. And stay physically fit Police jawans focus on physical fitness with duty and also take care of your health.
On this occasion, DPO Muhammad Kashif Aslam said that the purpose of the tournament is to motivate the police personnel, to attract them towards healthy activities and to develop their mental and physical along with law and order duties.
The chief guest in the tournament is DIG SPU Agha Muhammad Yousuf was present while the guests included Chairman Al Noor Group Mahar Ashraf Sial, MD Al Noor Group Mahar Ijaz Sial, Regional Officer CTD Shams Khan and District Sports Officer Muhammad Sajid among others while the winner and runner-up team were given cash prizes at the end, And the trophy was also given. Alnoor Group and District Sports Administration had special support in organizing this one-day tournament.
