‘Pak, China enjoy everlasting friendship, unprecedented ties’

PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Kamran Bangash on Friday said that Pakistan and China had a 70 years of everlasting and unprecedented bilateral friendship and strong diplomatic relations based on mutual trust, respect and goodwill between the two countries.

Speaking at a function held in connection with the 70th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations at the China Window Centre here, he said that the ties between the two countries were further cemented with the passage of time.
Directorate of Youth Affairs had arranged the function to celebrate 70th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Additional Secretary Tourism Tariq Salam, Director Youth Affairs Salim Jan, Amjad Aziz Malik and others were also present.

“A number of projects in various sectors including Gwadar Port being completed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project with 64 billion US dollars are the glaring examples of best friendship between the two neighbouring countries,” Kamran Bangash said.

He said that nine economic zones were being established under the able leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, which will usher in a new era of development and prosperity in the country.

The China Window Centre, he added, was not only replicated the true relationship and cultural bonds between Pakistan and China but it also served as a best centre for further boosting the ties.

Praising the China Window Centre for arranging the function, he said that the Chinese culture, history and traditions have been beautifully displayed at the small set up of China Window.

He said the centre was also playing a pivotal role in imparting Chinese language course to Pakistani youth.

The special assistant said the trained Pakistani youth would benefit from learning the Chinese language in future and they would also help guide the visiting tourists from China in identifying the beautiful spots, rich culture, history and heritage and giving them other valuable information in a better way.
