Pakistan Stock Exchange witnesses bullish trend

KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bullish today and it has achieved the milestone of 73,000 points.

The KSE-100 Index closed today at 73,085.50 points as compared to 72,658.05 points on the last working day with a positive change of 427.45 points.

The total turnover was 741,196,400 as compared to 674,981,699 on the last working day with WorldCall Telecom having the highest turnover of 85,720,717.

A total of 381 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 217 recorded gains and 132 sustained losses whereas the share price of 32 companies remained unchanged.

Hoeschst Pakistan Limited recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 94.71 rupees while Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited recorded the maximum decrease that was 99.98 rupees.
