Pakistan’s exports to China shrink by 64%

ISLAMABAD: A big decrease of about 64 percent in Pakistan’s exports to China has been recorded during current fiscal year, on Wednesday.

According to sources, exports to China in March 2024 were $177.1 million while in March 2023, exports to China were $476.4 million.

The sources said that in the nine months of this financial year, the exports to China could only increase by 2.2 percent while China imports went up by 98 percent in March 2024.

In March 2024, imports of $1.30 billion were made from China, sources added while in March 2023, imports of $659.8 million were made from China.

Imports from China increased by 11 percent in the 9th month of the financial year as from July to March, imports of $10.19 billion were made from China.
