Pakistan’s exports to China up by 46% during ongoing financial year

ISLAMABAD: What can be described as a big achievement for the present caretaker government, trade between Pakistan and China received a huge boost in the first seven months of the ongoing financial year (FY), on Monday.

Quoting its sources, the channel reported that the country’s exports to China between July 2023 and January 2024 increased by 46 per cent, reaching $1.72 billion compared with the exports recorded during the same period last year, which stood at $1.18 billion.   

On the other hand, the volume of imports from the neighbouring country during the aforementioned period stood at $7.71 billion, while during the same period last year, the imports stood at $7.66 billion.
