LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is likely to visit Jati Umra on Thursday (today) to meet with former premier Nawaz Sharif to discuss FATA reforms bill and matters.
The private news channel reported that CM Shahbaz Sharif will be accompanied with PM Abbasi during the meeting.
Report added that the main point of the discussion will be the issue of FATA merger into KP and reservation of Mualana Fazal-u-Rehman over the issue.
The issue of FATA’s merger with KP remains one of the pending matters for the incumbent government and has dominated the political discourse of the country in recent weeks.
Earlier today, the opposition once again staged a walkout from the National Assembly proceedings as the FATA Reforms Bill for the region’s merger with KP remained out of the agenda for yet another session.
