LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have similarity in corruption and sitting of together of Asif Zardari and Shahbaz Sharif proved their fear of accountability.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Abdul Aleem Khan claimed that those who looted the national exchequer can never come again in power and Zardari has nothing to do with the development of the country but has real issue of his personal agenda which has been flopped due to the ongoing process of accountability.
He said that the “lecture” by Zardari for training others will go in vein as no one would be so cruel to damage its own country in such a bad way as done by PPP. He said that after failing in replying the allegations, Zardari has started to raise the issue of provincialism and people are asking him the question why he is now remembering Sindh after being disappointed to save his own skin.
The Senior Minister said that by insulting the national institutions no one can prove himself innocent and everyone will have to be answerable for his deeds. He questioned that those who remained in power for three decades how can be compared with the three or four months of the present government.
He asked the opposition to remain calm as now not state but the corruption has to be failed. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan present team of PTI fully working to come to the expectations of the masses and all the challenges will be fulfilled as per aspirations of the people, he added. Abdul Aleem Khan further commented that resemblance in the speeches of Asif Zardai and Shahbaz Sharif has a big question mark and it is again being proved that the real fear to the opposition is the success of present government. He claimed that people have realized that the time of corruption will never will come again and accountability to go on.
The Senior Minister said that PPP and Nawaz League know the real faces of each other and they would never trust themselves. He predicted that this alliance of opposition will not go in long and soon its drop scene will be there and they will speak against each other.
Abdul Aleem Khan said that the incumbent government is fully aware of its responsibilities all promises made with the masses will be fulfilled in coming years.
