In addition to TTP breakaway militant groups and sectarian outfits, Baluch separatist militant organisations also carry out terrorist attacks in the insurgency hit restive province of Baluchistan. The province has 700 plus kilometer porous border with Afghanistan and has half a million Afghan refugees’ population. It is now an established fact that terrorists from their sanctuaries inside Afghanistan easily sneaked into Baluchistan get morphed with Afghan nationals and find handlers for facilitating attacks on security personnel and other citizens. The fencing of Pak-Afghan border in the frontline province of Baluchistan can also achieve the desired results, lowering the frequency of terrorist activities.
