SNGPL’s gas theft crackdown: 138 connections disconnected

LAHORE: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 138 connections; Rs 5.42 million fine imposed.

In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 12 connections on illegal use of gas and 1 FIR Lodged against gas thieve. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.5 million against gas theft cases.

In Multan 6 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 0.1 million have been booked against gas theft cases.

In Rawalpindi the team disconnected 1 connection on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 0.1 million have been booked against gas theft cases.

In Bahawalpur the regional team disconnected 3 connections on illegal use of gas.

In Karak and Peshawar the regional team disconnected 100 connections on illegal use of gas and 6 FIRs Lodged against gas thieves. The team also imposed fine of Rs 4.3 million against gas theft cases.

In Faisalabad the regional team disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.11million against gas theft cases.

In Gujranwala, 4 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.41 million against gas theft cases

In Gujrat, 3 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. The team also imposed fine of Rs 13 thousand against gas theft cases.

In Sahiwal, 2 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas.
