Special security measures taken this year: CM Sindh

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah has said that strict security arrangements were provided this year to ensure the peace during the Muharram

This he said while visiting of Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the head of the Bohra community on Sunday. Shah added that 27,000 foreign nationals visiting the sadder area as the leader of Bohra community was present in the city.

The security arrangements in the city caused inconvenience to the public but it is necessary for the safety of the masses and asked them to travel on the alternative traffic route, Shah apologized.

CM added that the strict security measures were taken because of possible threats in the city.
