LAHORE: Pakistan’s former cricketer Tauseef Ahmed was admitted to a hospital after experiencing chest pains while attending a wedding ceremony in Lahore.
According to details, Ahmed had traveled from Karachi to Lahore to attend the wedding ceremony of a trader’s daughter. The 62-year-old felt ill during the ceremony which prompted his family to call an ambulance for emergency support. The former cricketer was then taken to a local hospital for further treatment. He has undergone emergency treatment and appears to be in better health. Ahmed is expected to be transferred to the Punjab Cardiology Center today. His son, while talking to an Express correspondent, revealed that his father’s health had deteriorated significantly last night however timely medical aid helped a great deal. The doctors have stated that the patient is in stable condition now.
