MUMBAI (Web Desk): Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s much-awaited project Bawaal’s official teaser has been released. The film is anticipated to be a blockbuster as super-hit director Nitesh Tiwari is expected to continue his legacy.
Reportedly, Varun will be playing a history teacher, named Ajay, who will teach the wrong history to the students, resulting in Bawaal. The film has been shot extensively in Poland, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Warsaw, and Lucknow.
According to Indian media, Bawaal is set to release directly on Amazon Prime on July 21. The film is said to be the most expensive one.
Sharing the teaser, Janhvi wrote, “Love never comes easy, get ready for some “Bawaal!”. A day before, Janhvi and Varun Dhawan had shared a new romantic still featuring them in an embrace. The caption hinted at the story, “Tum pyaar karne dete toh tumhe kitna pyaar karte (I would have loved you a lot had you allowed me to love you).”
Talking about Bawaal, Nitesh Tiwari said in a statement, “Shot across three Indian locations and five European countries, Bawaal has a captivating storyline, dramatic visuals and absolutely amazing chemistry between the lead talent Varun and Janhvi.”
Nitesh Tewari has previously directed blockbuster films like Dangal and Chhichhore.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwal said “It has been an absolute joy to produce this film which has been directed by my most loved filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari with Varun and Janhvi giving their very best, in their first film together”.
