The legacy of late Rehmat Shah Afridi

The iconic journalist and founding father of The Frontier Post (TFP) Daily, Honourable Rehmat Shah Aridi departed this transient world after a short illness on Sunday. Mr Arfidi was a true pioneer of English journalism in the KP, former North West Frontier Province, while he was one of the few Pakistanis who not only chose journalism as a profession but transformed it into a mission for the search and reporting of the truth and fearless support of justice in the community. He was an accomplished journalist, mentor, and spearhead in the field of journalism in the country. His dedication to truth, integrity, and storytelling has inspired countless newsmen, and writers, while his legacy will continue to resonate through his work and illuminating cradle of The Frontier Post Daily throughout the world in the coming years and decades.

Mr. Shah was a Bigwig in the field of journalism, and as the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Frontier Post has left an indelible scholarly impact and eternal legacy in the country and the region. His valuable work and services in journalism inspire countless journalists while his patriotism and selfless reporting earned him eminence and fame in scholarly circles in Pakistan. His passing is not just a loss for his family, the frontier post, and the journalistic community but for the entire region that benefitted from his tireless endeavours to bring forth the truth, and support to justice delivery.
