PESHAWAR: Minister for Information Ajmal Khan Wazir Wednesday said that there was no truth in the news that more 15 new cases of corona virus have appeared in province adding it was mandatory for departments concerned to confirm cases updates from Information Department prior to share with media or others.
Speaking at a press conference, held here at Civil Secretariat, Minster for Information Ajmal Wazir said total number of corona virus suspects patients was 92 wherein the result of 43 was awaited.
He said that the number of confirmed patients including two deceased was 19 in the province.He maintained that with the emergence of four new cases the number of corona virus affected patients has reached to 23 in the province.
Sharing details of four new corona virus cases, Ajmal Wazir said that one infected persons belongs to Mansehra, the second one, 30 years old, belongs to Khyber district, third patient is a 25 years old woman who belongs to Buner area and the fourth patient, 30, belongs to Shabqadar area of Charsadda district.
Speaking at the moot, he said that a total of 250 zayerin have reached KP from Baloachistan who will be kept in specialized camps at Dera Ismail Khan.
He asserted that emergency has been declared in the province adding that it is a difficult time for the nation but they should observe patience and only care and prevention can help to fight back corona virus.
He said that hospitals are providing health facilities to patients.
