Washington DC: A US motor oil company, GP which is registered with USPTO under registration number 6154962, has launched a compliant to law enforcement agencies and custom border protection agency in America against Mr Habib, Mr Ghiyas Uddin, Mr Abdul Rahman, Mr Tariq Mr Tahir Husain, Mr Zafar Iqbal from United Arab Emirates (UAE) for fraudulently using the name and brand of its company from USA.
The CEO of GP, Mr Syed Lakht-i-Hasnain in his complaint has asked the relevant U.S. government authorities to take action against these individuals who are using his brand name for which he worked for years to build its market in the United States.
Mr Hasnain, while talking to The Frontier Post said that he was surprised to see that the UAE government allows such individuals to be in such sensitive business. Mr Husnain further said that “Intellectual Property Rights” are well respected and well protected in America and that those who try to deceive the law enforcing agencies in America, they are punished severely.
It is important to mention here that Mr Hasnain, who has been awarded with Presidial award for his business success stories, also plans to contact the UAE Embassy in Washington DC and office of the U.S. Secretary Commerce in this regard.
Police information report number 5819 210 dated 2nd March has already been registered against the culprits in New York.
