Ulema’s role pivotal in strengthening Islamic system, says Deputy PM

KABUL (Agencies): Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister, in a meeting with a group of scholars and mujahideen of Jowzjan province, called the role of ulema in strengthening the foundations of the Islamic system important. The press office of the Prime Minister in a statement said: “In this meeting, the scholars and Mujahideen of Jawzjan shared information about the social, security, and economic issues of the people of Jawzjan, and about the issues of education, religious schools, and health departments” The scholars asked the officials of the Islamic Emirate to cooperate in order to address the challenges in the mentioned fields in the province. Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi praised the role of scholars and Mujahideen in Jihad against the invaders and the establishment of the Islamic system and emphasized that the role of the scholars in consolidating the foundations of the Islamic system is very critical. He called access to education, the creation of transportation routes, and access to health services among the first rights of the people and said: The Islamic Emirate is trying its best to address these problems.
