LOS ANGELES: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s Bad Boys 4 trailer arrived on Tuesday revealing a surprise return of a character loved by movie fans.
The new movie, titled Bad Boys: Ride or Die, will be released in cinemas on June 5 in the United Kingdom and June 7 in the United States.
The trailer shows Mike Lowrey (played by Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (played by Martin Lawrence) on the run after their former captain is accused of corruption.
Joe Pantoliano will return for his role as Captain Howard in the latest instalment despite being killed off in Bad Boys for Life.
Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig and Paola Núñez will also return for their roles.
Eric Dane will play the role of the villain banker while Jacob Scipio will return for his role as Mike’s son Armando Aretas.
The 3-minute-five-second trailer will reunite Smith and Lawrence for more action nearly 30 years after the 1995 original movie.
The movie will be the first time Smith makes a return to the screen following his 2022 Oscars incident where he slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage.
