MULTAN: Police registered a case against 40 lawyers, including President Lahore High Court Bar Multan Bench, Sher Zaman Qureshi, for destroying the newly constructed judicial complex in Multan.
Earlier, on Wednesday, In Multan lawyers were protesting against the shifting of the judicial complex and later they attacked the news constructed building of the judicial complex and destroyed the doors and windows of the complex.
Judicial complex Superintendent registered FIR against the lawyers at Bahauddin Zakariya police station on Thursday. Police registered case under section-7 of Anti Terrorism act and Section 16 of the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance.
LHC Multan bench president, Sher Zaman Qureshi was involved in manhandling an LHC justice in Multan during a hearing.
