Peshawar: Pakistan Engineering Council – PEC has conducted a meeting titled as 1st Engineering Capstone Expo-2024 (KPK) at PEC Regional Office, Peshawar on April 16, 2024 (Tuesday). Under the Convenorship of Engr. Ejaz Hussain Ansari, Vice Chairman, KPK.
Engr. Mir Masood Rashid briefed the members about the ten (10) initiatives of PEC-Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC) i.e. STEM Education, Day Trip Learning, Annual Financing Scheme of Final Year Design Projects, Engineering Capstone Expo, PEC E-Library, Helping Industries by providing Internee Engineers, Graduate Internship Training, PEC E-Gateway, UNSDGS Adoption, Engineer Parliamentarians caucus.
He also highlighted the importance of the engineering capstone experience in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, preparing students for the challenges and opportunities they will encounter in their future careers. In this regard, he requested all stakeholders to put a joint effort for making the event as a success
Engr. Ejaz Hussain Ansari, Vice Chairman, KPK briefed audience that Engineering Capstone Expo stands as a testament to the dedication and innovation of engineering students, showcasing their transformative projects and fostering connections with industry leaders and peers. He also commended the students for their remarkable achievements and their commitment to excellence throughout their academic journey. He emphasized the significance of the capstone experience in honing practical skills, fostering creativity, and preparing students for the dynamic challenges of the engineering profession.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Engineering Council – PEC is going to conduct an event titled as Graduate Internship Training Review-KPK at C & W Secretariat, Peshawar on April 16, 2024 (Tuesday). Wherein, the Chief Guest was Engr. Ejaz Hussain Ansari, Vice Chairman, KPK
Engr. Mir Masood Rashid briefed the audience about the ten (10) initiatives of PEC-Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC) i.e. STEM Education, Day Trip Learning, Annual Financing Scheme of Final Year Design Projects, Engineering Capstone Expo, PEC E-Library, Helping Industries by providing Internee Engineers, Graduate Internship Training , PEC E-Gateway, UNSDGS Adoption, Engineer Parliamentarians caucus.
He also added that Graduate Internship Training (GIT) Program is a flagship project designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing recent graduates with hands-on training and practical experience in their respective fields. This program is tailored to equip young professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge required to excel in today’s competitive job market.
Engr. Ejaz Hussain Ansari, Vice Chairman, KPK also briefed audience about the initiatives being taken by the council in the Governing Body Tenure (2021-24). He also added that initiatives like Graduate Internship Training , Annual Scheme for Financing of Final Year Design Projects and other major initiatives have been the most popular initiatives of the council till date. He also added that each initiatives of the council is well taken & participated by the engineering community of KPK.
