Lahore: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 69 connections while 173 under billing cases processed ; Rs 2.53 million fine imposed
In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 8 connections on illegal use of gas while another 9 on use of compressor.
In Bahawalpur the company disconnected one connection on use of compressor .The regional team in Multan disconnected 2 connections on illegal use of gas and another 3 on compressor use ,68 Under billing cases have been processed.The team imposed fine of Rs 0.11 million against gas pilferes.
In Peshawar and Karak,the company disconnected 32 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal use of gas,15 under billing cases have been processed and amount of Rs 0.09 million against gas theft and under billing cases .The regional team in Islamabad disconnected 1 connection on illegal use of gas.
The regional team of Mardan processed 60 under billing cases. In Sahiwal, one connection was disconnected on illegal use of gas . In Faisalabad region 10 under billing cases have been processed.
The team of Sheikhupura disconnected 11 connections on illegal use of gas and 20 under billing cases have been processed and amount of Rs 2.33 million booked against Under billing and gas theft cases.
The team of Gujarat disconnected 1 connection on illegal use of gas.
