AC adjourns Sharjeel case hearing

KARACHI: The accountability court hearing corruption reference against former Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon and other was adjourned till December 14, 2017. On Monday the court heard corruption case against Sharjeel Inam Memon and other co-accused.

During the hearing, Memon requested the court to constitute a medical board to provide him with medical services.

Eleven co-accused who had been arrested alongside Memon by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials in October had also appeared in court today for the hearing.

The court was expected to indict the co-accused today. However, the indictment was deferred till next date of hearing on Monday rejected claims that he has been receiving VIP treatment in jail. He appeared before an accountability court in Karachi for a hearing into a corruption case against him.
